Connect Marketplace provides PayPal Complete Payments, an all-in-one solution from PayPal. It can be applied either to a single store or across all of your stores on Connect Marketplace.
With PayPal Complete Payments, you can quickly set up a payment method in your online store and provide customers with secure, familiar payment options.
- Go to your Admin Panel.
- In the left bottom corner Go to Settings → Payment methods.
- Click on the + icon to add a new payment method.
- Create a new payment method based on the PayPal Complete Payments processor.
5. Switch to the Configure tab and specify PayPal settings.
- Account settings:
- App Client ID & App Secret — these settings connect your store to your PayPal account. Get these credentials from PayPal.
- Log in your PayPal account
- On your Profile drop-down menu (right upper corner) click on Account settings
- In the Account & Security Section click on Account Access
- There will be API access, so click on the Update button
- Update button will open the the new window with API options, please choose REST API Integrations
- The popup window will open
- If you don't have an App created, create new one.
- In the Display App Field add the name of your App
- Client ID you need to copy and paste into App Client ID on Connect Marketplace
- Secret Key you can copy also and add to the Connect Marketplace field for App Secret
- At the bottom under the Live Webhooks you can add the web hook that was created by Connect Marketplace in section "Specify the following URL"
- Please note that you can add multiple webhooks if you use more than one store
- Test/Live mode—set to Live to accept real payments.
- The test mode is intended for developers. It works with the special PayPal sandbox instead of live servers. No real money is involved in sandbox transactions.
- Live mode on the other hand choose for production, that means all the payments are real and transaction are recorded.
- Currency—if you specify the currency that is not the same as the store’s primary currency, then it will be converted as soon as you go to the PayPal checkout page.
- The currency is converted at the exchange rate set for it in this store.
- Send shipping address to PayPal — if you tick this checkbox, CS-Cart will send customer’s shipping address to PayPal.
- This is useful for fraud prevention and printing shipping labels.
- Funding sources to show on checkout—choose the payment services you want to be displayed on the PayPal checkout page. You can choose:
- Credit or debit cards
- PayPal Pay Later
- PayPal Credit
- Venmo
- SEPA-Lastschrift
- Bancontact
- eps
- giropay
- iDEAL
- MyBank
- Przelewy24
- Sofort
- Mercado Pago
- BLIK
- Button appearance—choose the shape, color and height of the PayPal button on the checkout page.
- App Client ID & App Secret — these settings connect your store to your PayPal account. Get these credentials from PayPal.
6. Click the Create button.
